How do I book a trip(s)?
To book any of our trips, contact us directly via phone, WhatsApp, email or any of our social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
How does payment work?
We understand it can seem a bit trusting to pay for a service upfront that is located abroad and perhaps not in your currency. For the financial safety of our guests, we do not ask for prepayment when booking a trip, nor do we ask for card details. However we do ask that when you book that you are true to your booking and if you wish to cancel that you do so as soon as possible. Some trips may require more than one hotel transfer by our team and it can cause us to be at a loss if we are not informed that you wish to cancel.
We ask that you pay the evening before or after your trip. Caoimhe (co-owner) will collect payment from a suitable location for you or at your accommodation. We accept EUR, GBP, EGP, USD.
What if I am not satisfied with the service?
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with anything during your experience, we ask that you inform a member of staff as soon as possible so we can try to rectify the issue. If this is not possible at the time, we ask that you take any evidence where possible of this issue and present it during the trip or when possible (email WhatsApp etc). Your complaint will be dealt with by Elegantium Trips management confidentially and impartially. In certain circumstances we will offer one of the following:
-Free trip
-Refund
-Discount
How will Elegantium Trips know where to pick up?
Upon booking your trip directly with us through WhatsApp, email or a social media platform belonging to us, we will confirm that with you then and give you an exact pick up time. We may also ask for a room number if your accommodation is a hotel in order for us to enter your hotel upon pick up and drop off. It is protocol in Egypt for exterior tour companies to provide this to hotel security to prove that prior contact has been made with the guests and so the hotel know which guests will be travelling with our company.
Can I book a private trip for a small number of people?
Most of our trips can be done privately or as a shared group, upon contacting us please make us aware of which trip(s) you want to do privately and will discuss this with you and inform you of any changes of details you need to be aware of prior.
How is my safety guaranteed?
Safety is top priority at Elegantium Trips. All our equipment is checked daily, any trip involving water there will always be a trained lifeguard at hand who will also go through health & safety before any activity. Rest assured our guides will ensure all activities are partook in correctly. All necessary security and tourism permits are obtained prior to your travel for example if you will leave Hurghada to go on the Red Sea or to another city (e.g. Luxor or Cairo). To do this, we will ask each trip participant to supply us with a picture of their passport. These tourism travel permits inform the Tourist Police Egypt that the particular participant in in transit with us.
Are the trips suitable for children?
Please be advised that trips with a long travel time (Turtle Bay in Marsa Alam, Cairo and Luxor) my not be suitable for young children, however they are more than welcome if you find this to be suitable for your children. If you wish to go Quad biking, please be advised that the minimum age for riding the Quad alone is 16 years old; anyone under the age of 16 is welcome to share a quad with someone over the age of 16. For Sea trips, we have life jackets to fit children as young as 3 years old and have multiple trained snorkel guides/life guards that are happy to accompany weaker swimmers.
